Parent-Teacher Organization
Divine Savior Academy has a very active Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO). This group meets on a regular basis to plan events for the parents and students of our school. These activities include fun-raising events like movie nights and our annual Sharing Night, as well as fund-raising events like after-school ice cream sales and a coupon book sale. The money that the PTO raises directly benefits the students of Divine Savior. Each year, the PTO donates their earnings through the purchase of equipment for regular school use. Past donations include library books and a walkway awning.
For more information or to volunteer, please contact the school office at 305-597-4545. Our receptionists will be happy to introduce you to our PTO leaders. There are always plenty of ways to be involved, and we have a lot of fun along the way. The PTO is a great way to meet other DSA parents!

This short newsletter includes DSA news, events, and information about what our alumni are doing.
PTO Coupon Book Fundraiser: September
Students and families from PreK3 through 8th grade had the opportunity to sell books filled with coupons to local and national businesses. Students earned fun prizes including collectible figures and tickets to a slam dunk basketball show. (Download our Coupon Book Flyer).
PTO Sharing Night: October 2nd
This special night for the teachers and parents provides an opportunity for everyone to interact with each other in a relaxed environment. Kick off the new school year with music, food, wine, and a silent auction.
DSA Networks: October 8th
DSA families and community members took the opportunity to network on a professional level in our High School Commons. About 35 companies had table displays, and the event was open to everyone in the community. (Download our DSA Networks Flyer).
DSA Fun Run: December 9th
DSA students in grades PreK3 through 8th grade celebrated the opportunity to raise money for a Christian orphanage in Haiti. That morning as parents cheered them on, our elementary students walked, ran, and danced as they earned pledges for this worthy cause. Later that afternoon, our middle school celebrated with a color run...so messy and so much fun!
Inaugural Gala and Auction: February 6th
Parents and supporters gathered in grand style for our first gala event. Our High School Commons were transformed into a ballroom as attenders wined, dined, danced, and bid on artwork, gift baskets, vacations, and more. (Download our Gala Invitation).
Shark Shootout Golf Tournament: May 4th
Once again the Trump National Doral will host over 100 golfers for our annual DSA golf tournament. A great time to play, network, and enjoy the Florida sunshine, while you support our student athletic programs here at DSA. (Download more information).
