Athletics Program

The mission of Divine Savior’s athletic program is to strengthen the talents and abilities of our student-athletes, as well as develop qualities such as teamwork, dedication, sportsmanship, and humility.

Divine Savior Academy encourages its students to have healthy lifestyles through physical education classes, intramural sports programs, and competitive athletic teams.

Physical education classes are a part of every level’s curriculum. In the upper levels, health courses are a part of the physical education curriculum. Students are exposed to regular exercise, encouraged to live healthy lifestyles, learn fundamental skills, and have fun, too.

In elementary schools, students are given the opportunity to join Divine Savior’s intramural sports programs. Conveniently scheduled after school, these programs teach students the fundamentals of sports like basketball, soccer, volleyball, track, and tennis. These programs help to lay the foundation for competitive play in middle and high school.

Starting in middle school, Divine Savior offers competitive athletic teams. Trained and experienced in their fields, Divine Savior’s coaching staff are dedicated to improving athletic skills and developing character traits that extend beyond the field of athletic competition. Our continuously program in middle and high school has middle school, junior varsity, and varsity teams that require tryouts and a commitment on the part of the student-athlete.
