The story of Divine Savior-Sienna starts with a Houston church in the mid-2000s, called Christ the Lord, that hoped to start a new ministry in the emerging area of Sienna. After getting to know the desires of their new community, they learned that the best way to support Sienna families was to provide an excellent private Christian school option for their children. Before long, our school was built, and Sienna Lutheran Academy (SLA) opened for its inaugural year in August 2012. It was a joyous moment, and we were only getting started.

Wanting to accelerate the vision for excellence in Christian education, we joined efforts with long time friend, Divine Savior Academy. Together, we reopened as the 3rd DSA campus in July of 2018. Feedback from the community has been so positive that we are opening a high school, with the first 9th grade class beginning in fall of 2021. The Lord has blessed our efforts in Sienna in ways we never could have imagined.
